It is not that I don't want

Salam and hi! 

This time of the year! *selain dari kisah hidup ko, banyak lagi yang berlaku nuhhh. Tahu ke?*

Wohooo.

Too many things other than typical medical student's first world problem. 

I know I know. So here it goes. The summary. 

1) last night, a bad earthquake happened in Nepal. Many died and injured. And at the same time, many people/organizations all over the world are gathering to help. (Including Christians. No comment on this, eventhough I've seen people say something yadaa yadaa. My only opinion is everyone is doing their job to ensure the continuity  of their followers)

2) Dr Wan Azizah as Permatang Pauh candidate. Hurmmmmmmmmm.

3) GST - Tun Dr M and BN. And the people are suffering. Kena berjimat la gamaknya. Oh tahukah anda doa orang yang dizalimi akan dimakbulkan? #Trivia. To be honest, I don't mind GST being implemented in Malaysia to boost the economy GIVEN THAT the government manage well the current resources i.e tax, natural resources, subsidi, gaji etc. The proof that the gov is not managing well are the jet issues, the wedding etc.

4) New fresh graduates will get job as a houseman after a year later- well, nothing much can be done. Exam dulu la kot. Rezeki di tangan tuhan. 

5) Malaysians students in Russia involved in fire and badly injured. Whenever you are in this world, ujian itu pasti ada. Thats His promise.

.... And the list goes on and on. It is not that I don't want to know or comment or post in FB or any other social media but it is just I think I don't know soo many things. I don't know behind those stories, I don't know what exactly happens. The content. Not the issues. I don't want to discuss issues but I want to discuss the content. The theme. So, I need to study more on each news that I have received. BUT if it is obviously wrong, against Islam, then it is. No need to justify the mungkar. 

If you asked me until when? 
Definitely we are not perfect. But my answer is until we met the Creator. Keep on improving ourselves on learning other knowledge. 

Then, you will ask me, kalau macam tuh tak boleh la post-post dekat FB or blog or etc?
My answer is: looking at the audience and the language you use. You can do it and if it turns out you are wrong, ready to accept. Apologize. because we are not perfect. We don't know everything in this world!

Honestly, look at your audience, their behaviour etc. Not everyone will have that attitude of tegur in a nice way without condemn you if you are wrong. So, before writing and post, say Bismillah and istighfar. then, tawakal ala Allah. Get your intention right and insyAllah Allah will help you :)

Kata Umar Al Khattab, "yang penting bagiku bukanlah dikabulkan doa, tetapi keinginan untuk terus berdoa. Justeru, setiap kali aku terdetik untuk berdoa, pasti aku berkeyakinan bahawa bersertannya pasti ada pengabulan doa" kerana Dia adalah Al Mujib, Yang Maha Mengabulkan. Cuma kita mahu atau tidak untuk berdoa.

Doa = dengan penuh pengharapan , pergantungan dan jiwa sebagai seorang hamba.

Prayer room

Assalamualaikum and hi!

This is a story of surau a.k.a prayer room.

University's prayer room. 

Whenever I hear brothers talking behind the 'veil' (tirai, tak jumpa suitable words. huhu) and I am about to pray I would say loudly, "brothers, is there anyone who wants to pray?"

Well, fair enough. It is a university area. We have lots of international students and most of them are from Pakistan, Eygpt, yadaa yadaa. so, thats explained why I speak English.

Back to the story. So, most of the time, I get a good response. yeay! got the chance to pray jamaah! hehe. *it is not that I don't want to pray jemaah with the girls, but I think it is more appropriate when there is a man. Imam dude. No harm asking right. If the man already pray, of course I will pray with the girls.*

However, the story didn't end there. There was one week when I entered the prayer room, there was already a man read out loud the prayer. So, I thought there was a jemaah. Then, I rushed to follow him but unfortunately I was a bit confused. with the rakaah. When it was Maghrib, it should be 3 rakaah, but he performed 4 and the he continue prayed and he read out loud. Thus, I choose to 'niat keluar Imam'. It went on the same thing for a week and I kept following him and then I 'niat keluar Imam' and I don't know why I keep doing it. *sigh*. Well, I don't who to asked or what to google.

Then one day, I came early to the prayer room *before the azan* and when I was about to pray, I asked, "brother, is there anyone who wants to pray?"
surprisingly, he replied, " I want to pray but I am a Syiah. I don't want to confuse you. I am sorry"

Great! mystery solved. :) New knowledge. Syiah prayed differently, read about them from right resources. It is a bit tricky.

Clinical Science Institute a.k.a CSI's prayer room

Well, this is a different setting. Why I said so? because most of medical students are Malaysians and we love to be here in CSI (part of the hospital, kinda academic area)

So, today. yes, today! (nampak tak ke-eksited-an nak cerita. hehe) I was about to pray Maghrib. And I heard a group of man behind the 'veil' were talking in Malay. So, I assumed orang Melayu la tuh.
hence, I said out loud and confidently, "brothers, ada yang nak solat?" and they replied, "tak ada"

ok. then. Off to pray alone. But suddenly I heard someone read prayer outloud and I was like, he sounds not like Malaysian. Because I am tooo curious, I peek behind the 'veil'. seriously I did that. and I saw there was a man look like Pakistan or yang sama waktu dengannya was praying alone! How on earth he can understand Malay! Without thinking, I joined him. (he was at second rakaah) and Alhamdulillah another solat jemaah! I was sooo happy. Alhamdulillah Allah grant my wish!

Believe me, get the right intention, pray to Allah and indeed He will answer your prayer. He is the one who hold our hearts. That Imam's heart to understand Malay and be the Imam. Allah is The Greatest. Allahuakbar!


Lesson for today - Believe in Him, the Almighty. Unity.

Bukan hanya aku dan engkau

Assalamualaikum wbt dan hi!

Fitrah hidup dalam masyarakat. Pelbagai ragam. Kadang-kadang menyusahkan hidup orang lain. Kadang-kadang terlalu ambil berat. Apabila manusia telah meletakkan satu kayu ukur/ barrier di dalam hidup mereka, setiap perkara itu akan menjadi 'rigid'.dan akhirnya orang lain memilih untuk mendiamkan diri. Being selfish. risau-risau kalau di cop 'busy body'. Ehehs.

Hakikat sebenar dalam hidup bermasyarakat. Tiada istilah 'busy body' andai yang diukur itu sebagai tanda kasih dan concern dan tidak menyusahkan hidup orang lain i.e menjaja cerita. Masalah yang berlaku sekarang pabila isitilah 'concern' itu ditambah dengan menjaja cerita tanpa tujuan hanya untuk bersuka ria. Mana hilang kasih itu? Huissh lesap di awangan. 

It is an art. Berkasih sayang sesama manusia itu adalah seni. Setiap dari kita melahirkan rasa sayang yang berbeza. Namun, manusia sering menyalah erti. Yang sayang itu dikatakan tidak ikhlas, atau yang sayang itu dikatakan pelik. geli. Apabila seseorang itu tidak dapat menerima cara seseorang, semua benda nampak tak kena. Maka, semuanya bermula dari hati. Hati yang bersih. Melihat semua benda dalam kaca mata yang berbeza. Anjakan paradigma. 

Kisah kematian Kitty Genovese pada tahun 1960 an membuka mata masyarakat barat. Justice kata mereka. Dakwah kata kita. Kerana asas dakwah itu not being selfish. Pedulisma. Seriously, google Kitty Genovese and read on her death storry. Arh. Kematian yang membuka mata manusia bahawa di zaman ketamadunan jangan sangka manusia itu prihatin. Dua benda berbeza. yang asasnya kembali kepada manusia mentafsir hidup masyarakat itu sendiri. 

Minggu ini sahaja berita kematian menerjah di newsfeed. Chapel Hill Shooting dan pemergian sang murabbi Tuan Guru Nik Aziz. di tambah pula penangkapan Anwar Ibrahim ke penjara kesekalian kalinya. Mengingatkan kembali kisah pemecatan 3 hakim di zaman Tun Mahathir dulu. Arh, Andai hakim boleh dipecat tanpa sebab, inikan pula memenjara Anwar Ibrahim. I am not surprise man. Ain't justice. Jangan nak ungkit pada aku dengan kisah penjahat-penjahat yang lain. I am not saying tak telus 100%, I am just saying anything can happen dalam kehakiman dan mahkamah Malaysia. Nak tahu kisah pemecatan hakim-hakim? PM me, and I can link you to a right person. Salah seorang hakim yang dipecat dan sekarang sedang sakit, namun masih larat ambil berat soal negara. 

Baiklah, cukup bebelan kali ni. Sekadar curhat (curahan hati). Semalam seorang teman berkongsi hadis. Things that need to be reminded. Kerana aku bukan manusia yang sempurna. Maaf, teman. dan terima kasih teman kerana memudahkan kerja aku. Sayang kamu dari bulan ke bumi. Ehehs. 

Hadis diriwayatkan oleh al-lmam Muslim dengan lafaz ini. Daripada Abu Hurairah r.a. daripada Nabi SAW, Baginda telah bersabda: 

Barangsiapa yang melepaskan seorang mukmin daripada satu kesusahan daripada kesusahan-kesusahan dunia, nescaya Allah akan melepaskannya daripada satu kesusahan daripada kesusahan-kesusahan Qiamat. 

Barangsiapa yang mempermudahkan bagi orang susah, nescaya Allah akan mempermudahkan baginya di dunia dan di akhirat.

 Barangsiapa yang menutup ke'aiban seorang muslim, nescaya Allah akan menutup ke'aibannya di dunia dan akhirat. Allah sentiasa bersedia menolong hambaNya selagi mana dia suka menolong saudaranya.  

Barangsiapa yang melalui suatu jalan untuk menuntut ilmu, nescaya Allah akan mempermudahkan baginya suatu jalan menuju ke syurga. 

Sesuatu kaum tidak berkumpul di salah sebuah rumah-rumah Allah (iaitu masjid) sambil mereka membaca Kitab Allah dan mengkajinya sesama mereka melainkan suasana ketenangan akan turun ke atas mereka, rahmat akan melitupi mereka dan mereka akan di kelilingi oleh para malaikat dan Allah akan menyebut (perihal) mereka kepada orang-orang yang berada di sisiNya.  

Barangsiapa yang terlambat amalannya, nescaya nasab keturunannya tidak mampu mempercepatkannya."
